About the Day in Technology History Project
The Day in Tech History Podcast started it all. Host Jeffrey Powers has been putting together a list of part research, part emperical data for the last four years. This list can be viewed by day from the table below.
Currently, the list is getting cross-referenced so you can select by year and get the same amount of information. It's a long and tedious process, but one that needs to be done.
How Data is collected, verified
Simply put, Once Jeff finds information, he enters into the reference. If a question arises on a date, Jeff will research into the information and find a source that confirms this date to be true.
Day in Tech History Podcast
At the top is the Day in Tech History podcast for the adjoining day. As the months pass, Jeffrey will take down last year's podcast and put up a current audio version. Therefore, some dates may be without an audio episode until the day of the podcast.
This is a process currently being worked on so that will not happen.
References
Jeffrey's references is the web - keeping the list as current as possible when news breaks.
